The Nathaniel Center Environment  is a contemporary improvising ensemble dedicated to creating an immersive musical world that an audience can walk through and explore. NCE’s debut performance at The Firehouse Space will take place on two floors simultaneously and music has been specifically ben written for the unique performance space. Audience members are encouraged to move to different areas of the venue as being in a different space could result in a completely different experience. The ensemble is composed of a rotating lineup of extremely diverse musicians from throughout the greater New York area (drawing influences ranging from Ornette Coleman, to ’90′s pop/punk bands, to impressionist classical composers).
