Composer’s Voice presents “Wooden’t It Be Nice?”, an evening of wildly eclectic new music for strings and woodwinds on Thursday, June 16 at 7:30 pm at The Firehouse Space.

Curated by Masatora Goya featuring performances by Rachel Arky, Molly Aronson, Melanie Chirignan, Kenji Haba, Rachel Hauser, Hidejiro Honjo, Jonathan Hulting-Cohen, Elliot Lee, Michelle Painter and music by Spencer Snyder, Felipe Salles, Dina Pruzhansky, Ronald Pearl, Masatora Goya, Yuji Takahashi, Michio Kitazume, and Osvaldo Golijov.

COMPOSER’S VOICE’S NEW BEGINNINGS AT THE FIREHOUSE SPACE  7:30 PM

Composer’s Voice is presenting a unique showcase of contemporary composers at The Firehouse Space on Thursday February 18th at 7:30 PM. This is the beginning of a series of concerts that will happen on the third Thursday of the month at Brooklyn’s Firehouse Space.

The performance will feature the works of contemporary composers: Greg Bartholomew, Fabian Beltran, Douglas Townsend, and Robert Voisey.   Also presented on this concert is Composer’s Voice staple Fifteen-Minutes-of-Fame with Beth Griffith including 15 one-minute works by Dennis Bathory-Kitsz, Christopher Danforth, David Drexler, Abraham Fabella, Daniel Goode, Paolo Longo, Pamela Madsen, Pamela J. Marshall, Luis Menacho, Koka Nikoladze, Brandon J Rolle, Justin Rubin, Naftali Schindler, William Vollinger, and Andrew Walters.  (more…)
