Jorge Chikiar is an Argentine composer, sound artist and producer. He has worked at Colon Theater, CETC, Michell Maccarone’s Art Gallery, The Kitchen. Chikiar has produced works for Laurie Anderson, Michael J. Shumacher, Thurston Moore, Jim O’Rourke, David Behrman, Zeena Parkins, Ikue Morí, Steve Reich among others.
Chikiar Composed works such as Wu Wang for Fractus Ensamble, Granos en el Viento work for Moxenio and Live Electronics, Crakcs of Ice, multichannel acousmatic installation with Sounds recorded in Antarctica. Collaborations include, Crossing Hemispheres Cd with John King, At CMC with Terry Pender. Producer of The Opera The Jungle Within by Marcelo Toledo.
Terry Pender is the Associate Director of Columbia University’s Computer Music Center where he has worked for the past 20 years. Terry is a composer, performer and sound designer who is best known for his work with his interactive trio PGT: Pender, Garton and Taylor and for his sound designs with The Open Ended Group.
