An evening of marimba and percussion music; newest acoustic and electroacoustic works as well as arrangements of Bach and improvisation. Double recital by Polish percussionists Tomek Arnold and Jakub Frączek joined by distinguished cellist Magdalena Cymer.

Jakub Frączek is a young classical percussionist born in Cracow. Jakub made frequent appearances as a solo musician as well as won prizes at various competitions all over the world (Poland, Germany, Italy, Grece, Bulgaria, USA). Most recently he won 1st prize at the American Protege International Concerto Competition 2016, Carnegie Hall, New York, USA, which resulted in his recent debut at Carnegie Hall.

Tomek Arnold is a Krakow-born composer and percussionist currently working and living in US. As a composer-performer Tomek is seeking to find a language of understanding between his performative and compositional sides. He made appearances as a percussionist in various places around the world (Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Croatia, Switzerland, USA and China). Holds music degrees from Eastman School of Music, Manhattan School of Music and is currently a grad student at Wesleyan University.
