Elijah Shiffer’s composition THE OTHER MAN is a 45-minute suite in 16 movements for a jazz septet. It is inspired by a poem cycle of the same title, collaboratively written in 1973 by the English poets Roland Clare and Tony Golding. The poems will be recited between movements of the suite.
