This show features original, acoustic music by pianist Michael McNeill with renowned improvisers Ken Filiano (Bass) and Phil Haynes (Drums).
The trio from McNeill’s 2011 release Passageways kicks off their 2014 mini-tour with a concert at The Firehouse Space. They’ll present new music as well as reinterpretations of tunes from the CD

Adam Caine grew up in Rochester, New York, studied music at the University of Rochester, and has lived in Brooklyn, NY since the first days of the 21st Century. Caine’s trio CD’s “Thousandfold” (NoBusiness Records, 2009) and “Pipe” (TrueFalse, 2005) received rave reviews in the Wire, Cadence, and All About Jazz. His most recent CD is The Moon’s “Good and Evil” (577 Records, 2013).
