Half Moon Concert Series will open the season with an all-French program at the
Firehouse Space on Sunday February 17th, 5:00pm. Pianists Michael Brofman and
Miori Sugiyama will perform four-hands and two piano works by Poulenc, Massenet
and Milhaud. Emily Riggs, soprano, alongside Sugiyama, will feature some rarely
heard vocal transcriptions of Chopin Mazurkas and mélodie by Pauline Viardot.
Pauline Viardot was a prominent mezzo-soprano, composer, and salon patron of the
19th century. Please join us for an early evening of great music!
