Real Loud is proud to presents its inaugural concert showcasing the music of Italian composer, Count and mystic Giacinto Scelsi. Our first program highlights Scelsi’s late period works, including his fascination with single-tone and microtonal meditations, and their relationship with time and space.

The concert will feature the following works:

Aitsi (for Electronically Prepared Piano) – Karl Larson

Ko-Tha I-III (for Prepared Double Bass) – Tristan Kasten-Krause

L’Âme Ailée, L’Âme Ouverte (for Violin Solo)- Hajnal Pivnick

Kshara I-III (for two Basses) – Evan Runyon & Tristan Kasten-Krause

 

Real Loud is a Brooklyn-based presenting organization with a focus on unfamiliar and unusual sounds.
