Face The Music

This program, performed by young people from Face the Music and The Special Music School, is a mix of new music “chestnuts” along with some world premieres. Alongside with “Slouch Hat,” we have Mark Summer’s “Julie-O,” Michael Daugherty’s “Elvis Everywhere,” and an excerpt from John Adams’ lovely “Hallelujah Junction.” The world premiere compositions include new works for lever harp (Emily Delia), string quartet (Graydon Hanson) and flute/vibres/piano trio (Carol Sifuentes)
