Big Timber Trio traces their roots back to the good old days of 2011, trudging across northern US trucking route 90 with a van full of instruments on their way to Banff. After plundering North Dakota of their video game resources, the sun was going down and the boys were tired. Rain sprayed across the window shield as they took exit 70 and barreled down to the Big Timber, MT campsite. With the tent up, bellies full, and the river rising, it didn’t take long for those boys to visit dreamland and heck, word is they’re still there. One can only expect original improvised music from the Big Timber Trio with Ethan Helm on saxophone, Ben Thomas on bass, and Matt Honor with drums.
