Brooklyn guitarist Jon Lundbom and his band Big Five Chord play “assaultive, cleverly fun punk jazz” (Lucid Culture), “forward-thinking, boundary-stretching jazz that still manages to sit well on more mainstream ears” (Creative Loafing). The quintet features Jon Irabagon and Bryan Murray (“Bryan & the Haggards”) on saxophone in addition to bassist Moppa Elliott (“Mostly Other People Do the Killing”).
